What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent from the site to the user’s terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the site at the next visit by the same user. A cookie can not retrieve any other data from the user’s hard disk nor transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user’s web browser. Some of the functions of cookies can be delegated to other technologies. In this document the term ‘cookie’ refers to both cookies, properly so-called, and to all similar technologies.
What are cookies for?
Cookies are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations concerning users accessing the server, storing preferences, etc.
Type of cookies
Cookies can be first or third party, where “first party” means cookies that report the site as domain, while “third party” means cookies that are related to external domains.
Third-party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as “third party”, not managed by the site. These parties may also install first-party cookies, saving their cookies on the site’s domain.
Another type of cookies are the so-called “Flash Cookies” (Local Shared Objects), used within Adobe Flash Player to deliver some content, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or by the user to provide this service “(see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Italian Code).
They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. They can be divided into: a) navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); they are in fact necessary for the proper functioning of the site; b) analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, in order to improve the performance of the site; c) functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided. For the installation of these cookies, the prior consent of users is not required.
Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles related to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of surfing the net.
The consent of the interested party is required for the use of profiling cookies. According to the provision (more information in the paragraph Cookie management below) the user can authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the section “Managing cookies”.
In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control of individual cookies and can not control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). You can still manage these cookies through the browser settings, or the sites indicated in the “Managing cookies” section.
The User is therefore invited to check on the website of the third part indicated in the table below.

Which cookies do we use?
We use technical session cookies: The cookies used on the websites www.bdbluxuryrooms.com and www.blastnessbooking.com are intended to perform computer authentication or the monitoring of sessions and the storage of specific technical information concerning users who access Blastness servers, the reservation service manager of this site.
Pursuant to Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Italian Privacy Code (in the formulation in force following the entry into force of Legislative Decree No. 69/2012), “technical” cookies can be used even without the consent of the interested party.
For maximum transparency, we list below a series of technical cookies and cases of specific operations on the site:
- Cookies implanted in the user’s/contractor’s terminal directly (which will not be used for further purposes) such as session cookies used for online reservations on the site, authentication cookies, personalization cookies (for example, for the choice of the navigation language); these cookies remain active only for the duration of the session.
- Cookies used to statistically analyze accesses/visits to the site (so-called “analytics” cookies) that only pursue statistical purposes (and not even profiling or marketing) and collect information in aggregate form without the possibility of identifying the identification of the single user. In these cases, since the current legislation requires that for analytics cookies the person concerned is given clear and adequate indication of the simple ways to oppose their system (including any mechanisms of anonymisation of the cookies themselves), we specify the following ways to disable installed cookies. The duration of analytics session cookies is 30 minutes.

Duration of cookies
Cookies have a duration dictated by the expiration date (or by a specific action such as closing the browser) set at the time of installation. Cookies can be: a) temporary or session (session cookies): they are used to store temporary information, allow you to connect the actions performed during a specific session and are removed from the computer when the browser is closed; b) Persistent cookies (persistent cookies): they are used to store information, such as the login name and password, in order to avoid the user having to type them again each time he visits a specific site. These remain stored on your computer even after you close your browser.
If consent has already been given but you want to change the permissions of cookies, you must delete them via the browser, as shown below, because otherwise those already installed will not be removed. In particular, please note that it is not possible in any way to control third-party cookies, so if the consent has already been given, it is necessary to delete cookies through the browser (dedicated section) or by asking for the opt-out out directly to third parties or via the site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/le-tue-scelte
